Earlier this month, Australia Awards and University of Queensland alumnus, Noa Seru, shared his experiences at the 2020 University of South Pacific Career and Internship Fair.
He talked about his 24-year career in the development space, highlighting his opportunities in the climate change sector. To prepare for the workforce, Noa encouraged students to access USP’s services to write CVs, job applications and how to prepare for interviews.
Noa, who studied a Master of Development Practice from 2015-2016, is now a Senior Policy and Finance Advisor with DT Global’s USAID Climate Ready Project.
He says, “being an Australian Awards alumnus has enhanced my development knowledge and skills and expanded my professional network beyond the Pacific region.”
