From August to October 2020, five awardees from Fiji participated in the first NSW Government – Australia Awards Virtual Seminar Series.
The online Seminar Series is a collaboration between the NSW Government and Australia Awards. The series was attended by 47 awardees from 17 countries and consisted of four online workshops covering a range of policy areas:
- NSW Government introduction and Premier’s Priorities
- Infrastructure NSW: Delivering better outcomes for NSW
- Environment NSW: Climate resilience and net-zero emissions
- NSW Health: NSW’s healthcare system and emerging challenges
The interactive workshops provided awardees, an opportunity to understand the New South Wales Government’s priorities, policy agenda and sector capabilities, build meaningful connections and identify areas for potential cooperation with your home country.
