Siulai Fioana Elisala, a proud Australia Awards alumnus from Funafuti, is challenging gender and cultural norms by leading in Tuvalu’s construction and infrastructure sector.

Australia Awards alumnus, Teoni Faafou Paape is passionate about education for all. Having taught primary education across remote schools in Tuvalu, Teoni was determined to broaden his ability to meet the diverse needs of students and local communities.

Australia Awards Alumnus, Pine Timoteo is a lecturer at TMTI. He was first awarded a Trade Diploma in Nautical Science at the Fiji National University in 2012. This experience encouraged Pine’s interest and commitment to the sector.

In 2018, through an Australia Awards Pacific Scholarship, Losafou graduated from the University of the South Pacific (USP) with a Bachelor of Arts (Geography) and Law.

In 2018, Lily completed a Master of Public Policy at the Australian National University.

Australia Awards alumnus, Lae Peleti, graduated from the University of the South Pacific (USP) with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Information System under the Australia Awards Pacific Scholarship in 2018.
